- I like the college in aspect of environment and infrastructure and campus life.
- I also like the faculties in the college they were with high knowledge and experience.
Dislikes
- Ii dislike the campus auditorium it was with high capacity students and low ventilation there should be need to renovation.
- I did like the the mess food and hostel facility.
Remarks :
The factory that made me choose this college was the college reputation and mainly this was the first nit established by central government in 1959. The good aspect for the college was the college degree. raging free.high placement opportunities. And Bad aspect was hostel facility and message food and old equipment in labs .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the course because of my choices in intrest on Metallurgy subject. Qualification of the faculty was Mtech and phd in spectization and mainly experience more than 10 year on teaching field.review on teaching methods was good and nice they give their 100 percent efforts and they are friendly. The timely were term exam was near monthly gap and the difficulty level was moderate if they study well .
Internships Opportunities :
I don't have an internship experience. The internship opted for student was startes from 3 rd year 6 th semister.and roles offered by companies under internship with stipend based on their profile in like linkdin etc. The project was taken by student in final year but right know I also don't know about that.
Placement Experience :
The placements in jobs have and better opportunity compare to other colleges Highest placement from this college was 8800000 per annum avg 1700000 and 75 percent students are placing form previous year. If there is no campus placement for me I will try out side of the college because of nitw college degree there will better opportunity even out side of the college .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees I paying was 82000 per year and remaining,caution fee , registration fee, admission fee development fee ,lab fee for the above I paying 24000 total yearly I paying 105000. The fees of my batchmates for sc catagory payments 47500. Nsp is one paying for student scholarship till I applied for .
Campus Life :
The life at campus was nice and different from schooling life and here we feel freedom. The main fest spring spree which was conducted from Feb 28 to march 2 recently it done and we can njoy a lot . In Library books and journals availablity was very nice and this was the biggest library compare to other nit's. Sports and extracurricular activities on the campus was good but but not upto the march there are no coaches in the collage . Social groups like business club , red cross club etc .
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality was good but not super and menu was common there will no changed they will change only on day by day and monthly one day special dinner for non veg and veg students. The locality I was staying in hostel in 1.8k.

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
