Remarks :

I came to this college by attending the JoSSA counselling after taking the JEE Main 2024 exam. The exam was for 300 marks and there were two sessions one in January and the other in March. The cut-off rank for my course in Home state quota was 17079. This is a good college to be frank as I have asked my friends who have gone to local colleges but not better than IITs. I came here after studying MPC for 2 years. First I was thinking to go to NIT Calicut because I was getting an ECE course but I decided to come here as it is closer to my house and it had better NIRF ranking when compared to NIT Calicut.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Actually I did not come here by choice. If I had an option to choose ECE, I would've chosen it, but this course is also not bad. The faculty is very highly qualified and all of them studied in the same college. A fraction of them are not good at teaching, but otherwise they are good. Some of them are very excited to teach their students and have very vast knowledge in their respective subjects. Due to the sudden shift from annual exam to semester type of exams, I feel that exams come and go very fast and to be frank it is hard to keep up. I don't think the exams are too difficult. They are at a proper difficulty level.

Placement Experience :

Many top class companies like Google, Microsoft, Kia, Bajaj Auto, Deloitte and more have come to recruit graduates from our college Eligibility criteria is SGPA and the minimum SGPA to get a placement is 7.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Semester-1(in INR) : Tuition fee - 62500 Admission fee - 7500 Identity card - 500 Alumni Association fee - 2000 Student Library fee - 2000 Campus Lan Infrastructure - 2000 Institute Development Contribution - 20000 Student Activity Fund - 1000 Medical Aid and Exam fee - 1000 Games fee - 1000 Student Welfare Fund - 500 Career Development fee - 2000 Springspree & Technozion fee - 1000 Department Associety fee - 1000 ------------------------------------------ Semester - 2(in INR) : Tuition fee - 62500

Campus Life :

We have two Fests every year, one for each semester. One is Technozion which happens in the month of November and the other is South India largest cultural fest Springspree which happens in the month of march. There is a huge Library in the campus with over 180000 books. The classrooms are a little old school with wooden benches but they do very good ventilation. We have a big ground and also other courts for sports like Badminton, Co-Co, Volley ball etc. There are other clubs such as Dance and Dramatics Club, Music clubs etc. All the clubs in the campus are run by students themselves.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel mess is OK and they have a good amount of varieties on the menu but the most frequent dish is Paneer. Everything from college fee to mess fee and student information is done in ERP Portal. Mess fee is 12000.

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

What it's really like studing at NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since our batch hasn't reached final placements yet, I can't talk about placement results. But the college has already started preparing us through coding pratice, resume building sessions, mock interviews, and career guidance. Internship opportunities are shared regularly, and students are encouraged to apply from the early semesters itself. I like that the focus in on building our skills first instead of waiting until the final year. I feel this preparation will really help us when placement season begins.

My experience at NIAT

Placement Experience :

NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life

Placement Experience :

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
