- It's peaceful and eco-friendly campus which provides a perfect atmosphere for learning and personal growth.
- The modern infrastructure, including well-equipped labs, digital library, and sports complex.
Dislikes
- Limited placement opportunities for core branches , as most of the recuriters are from IT and software sectors.
- Some lab equipment needs regular maintenance, which can sometimes affect the practical learning experience. The Hostel mess menu could be improved with more variety in meals.
Remarks :
I mainly choose this university because of its reputation, academic & Well-equipped infrastructure. This is mainly top-rated sport university. The university is NAAC A++ accredited and ranks among top universities in india. For My degree of B.tech, The placement is good and students are getting placed in TCS, Accenture, Naggaro and etc with decent package. The selection/admission criteria is different for each degree. for B.Tech, student should need to present the JEE Result or Rank. The university is working on First come, First serve system. But for some degree, University conduct the exam and after exam, selected students are contacted for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose ECE because of my interest in communication technologies and networking domain. This feild offers a range of career opportunities in both hardware and software including IoT, 5G & VLSI etc. The course curriculum is well -structured covering both core subjects like digital electronics & Communications systems with computer science subjects like Data structures and algorithms, Operating System etc. The Faculty members are highly qualified , with most of them holding Ph.D. in electronics and software domain in thier respective fields. The Teaching methods involve a combination of lectures, practical and project-based learning. After each even semester end, The students have to submit the 3-5 projetcs or a major projects. Term exams are conducted on time without delays & difficulty level is moderate. The UIT campus of main University is also conducted hackathons and webinars.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunities is decent. The placement cell provides opportunities to student to secure the paid/ unpaid internship to gain the industry-working experience. This helps the students in placements which show the competency.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell provides placement/internship opportunities to the final year student. The opportunities are decent focusing on IT and software roles. Average package ranges between 3-5 LPA. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue a career as a clud/Devops Engineer, foucsing on cloud technologies and automation tools to enhance my tech skills and explore opportuniteis
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The even semester fees is ranging between 81000 to 85000 & odd semester fees is ranging between 57000 to 60000. The university is having 2 types of scholarship for students:--> 1) Fees Concession (Full or Half) 2) Poor Aid Fund. If a student is coming from EWS/SC/ST category, he will also apply for post-martic scholarship. Also University allow students to pay the fees on 2 or 3 installments. The Department is equipped with latest generation computer & subject specific labs have all the required instruments and props for lab work in great condition.
Campus Life :
It is vibrant and engaging, offering a perfect balance between academics and extracurricular activities. The univeristy has a sprawling green campus with peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal place for learning. The library has well-stocked with wide ranges of books, journals and e-resources covering various subjects. Students can easily access the digital resources and digital labs. Classrooms are equipped with whiteboards, projectors and smart boards. For sports, The campus provides excellent facalities for cricket, football, basketball etc. The univeristy encourages students to participate in Inter-University and national-level tournaments. There are multiples student-run clubs and socities.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for university hostel, which provides a comfortable and secure environment. The hostel fees are 20000/year, making it affordable compared to outside accomodations. The hostel infrastructure is well-maintained with spacious rooms, common study rooms, WiFi connectivity and 24/7 security. The mess serves mainly hygenic and nutritous food with fixed menu that includes vegetrain meals, eggs, etc. For hostel accomodation, The students need to fill out the online application on hostel portal and after that they have to pay the fees of hostel, mess security etc.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
