- I like the roads builds of this college, the library
- The weather here is good at all seasons it's like experiencing all the extremes together
Dislikes
- The roads here are never ending. It's like if you don't have a cycle then you should walk at least 1 km to have anything
- The food that we get here is like arrghhh not at all apatitizing to eat
Remarks :
We have gone through the entrance exam called JEE MAINS Every year nearly 10 lakhs+ students write this exam this is usually conducted in January February time After getting results we choose the college according to our rank that got allocated
Course Curriculum Overview :
After doing my research I have learned that the branch mechanical engineering is the best among all nits and most of the iits too.. At first I was hesitated after knowing I have to travel 1100kms for college. But after knowing this I got a little relieved at least it works good for my career
Internships Opportunities :
I have applied for the research internship at iit dharwar and iit kharagpur the resuls aren't out yet I waiting for that. Also the training committee here which is taking care of students internships is soo good. They are helping us a lot. They are providing every internship source to students very well
Placement Experience :
I am a sophomore so from what I know is that the students who have above or 7.0cgpa after all the 4 years . The highest package here last year is 1.2 Crores per annum. And the average package is 13lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
100000 person years in we have an income certificate for the students whose income is less than 1 lakh For ews, sc, st too there will be fee reduction but im not that sure about that.. Those students should have proper certificate for that
Campus Life :
The life here is actually good I have learned a lot things after getting in to this college. I have never been in hostel this is my first time being apart from my parents. Life is not hard especially when you have friends with you Also I am a part of the club ASME
Hostel Facilities :
Every thing in this college is good except the hostel food as I am from South India I normal can't handle spiceless bland food but here I have to normalize this kind of food aso the curries are different. ????

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

Placement Experience :
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
