The good aspect is that we learn from the best doctors and professors who have great knowledge and also we do postings from 1st year itself so we have alot of 4 years of experience and also we get to learn more and the bad aspect is that there is not extra curriculum activities for the BPMT students we have to do itself by our own outside the campus only also the exam patterns are quite ranging like the syllabus and also the timetable also and the posting work sometimes are quite tiring. The admission process is quite simple we have to fill the form then wait for the first list then if our name is not on the first list then wait for the spot round then we get the final list. The criteria is we have to do 12th science PCB subject and 50% but mainly it is based on the seats available.
This course is best it has a great scope we get to study from top quality teachers, doctors and professors which gives us a vast knowledge which helps in the future aspects we get all the lectures. The exams are also decent we get 2 internal exams named as term and preliminary then the last university exam. They are range in difficulty from 7-10. We can get backlog so please we need to study well.
We get internship inside the campus only after we get our degree completed we get around 10k per month till 1 year. In that we have to work in our own campus and also we get paid for that then after that we can opt for job as well.
For placement we have to have a high academic results and scores. We can get hired inside the campus which does not require any sort of exam we just have to do the interview and also the highest package inside the campus is 50-55k for fresher and for the experienced we can expect 70-80k
In total we have to pay about 60,000 in which comes all tution fees and other library fee etc also we have to pay extra for the exam fee at the time of examination. And if you are from SC/ST category then you have don't have to pay the tution fee also for the general category you will get the scholarship of 50,000 through MAHADBT. And for ews also there is sort of benefits.
There are no fest we have to do by ourselves only outside the campus the seniors hold freshers for the juniors There are various books available in the library with every book choice best quality classroom the only draw back is we don't have any sort of extracurricular activities that is for only the Mbbs students only we don't have that any activities.
We have canteen available with good quality food and good taste but unfortunately we don't have the hostel. We have to rent pg outside the campus we don't have any hostel available inside the campus which is bad.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
