Remarks :
the good aspects can be the faculty, infrastructure, ambience, dahibara, proximity, laboratories, study tours, fests, sports everything. Luckily I've not experienced anything bad to write about. The admission process is the most happening part of my college, first you'll have to appear for the entrance test, after which your 10th and 12th marks will be evaluated along with the entrance marks and accordingly you'll get a rank. securing a seat here is all about merit and what happens on the counselling day. preparation is exaclty the same as you prepare for neet, but here you've to increase your accuracy and efficiency in calculations as here you've to go through 200 questions in 120 mins. but relax, the questions will be easier than neet with no negative marking. some questions will be out of syllabus (in biology), but they wont be much so you need not worry about that.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Agriculture is a vast subject that perfectly combines art, science, and technology. Initially i wasn't aware of the scopes and prospects, but upon entering the college and with the guidance of my teachers I was able to whelm upon the fact. Here at OUAT, all the faculties are highly qualified and experienced with at least a PhD degree. the teaching method is by smart board means. labs are well equipped and with friendly staffs, who are ready to help at anytime of the day. Recently I appeared m 1st semester exam and to my surprise, the questions were of easy-moderate level. one can easily score good marks. exams will be timely conducted but the result dates can be delayed, but bonus bonus !! you get extra holidays ...
Internships Opportunities :
its too early to know the whereabouts of internships and packages offered. but from what I have heard internships are a regular visit to our college. the packages offered might be low, or maybe high, its a relative term.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are basically different types of seats(on the basis of cost) : general, cost sharing and NRI/PIO. the general seat costs 60575 per year that makes 1,19,420 at the end of years, the cost sharing is just double of general seat i.e., 1,13,215 and 3,61,420 at the end of 4 yrs. Whereas the NRI seat is around the double of Cost sharing that makes it around 12 lac at the end of 4 years. But there are reservations for ICAR, SC/ST, Green card holders, OUAT employee lads and OUAT ex employee too... All their fees are same as that of general seats. other type of fees include hostel and mess fees that will be around 50k per year. the college also provides scholarship for SC/ST as well as general category students. Some of the scholarships like E Medhabruti of Rs.20k per year and OUAT merit scholarship of Rs.500 per month.
Campus Life :
Life is hustling bustling but its peaceful. no politics, no hooliganism but peace and a sense of brotherhood everywhere. teachers are helpful and seniors friendly. there's no ragging as such, just that you've to follow a dress code for the 1st year. just a single rule "help seniors and they'll help you" Various clubs are also introduced this year, like art and literature, dance and music, sports, geopolitics and science and technology. there's a huge library with every kinds of books, and helpful staffs.
Hostel Facilities :
food is of good quality and changes everyday, there's inclusion of both veg and non veg preferences too, hostel has free Wi-Fi, 24/7 water, electricity and cctv surveillance. girls hostel is at a safe distance from the main road so privacy is also maintained. safety of the girls is the top priority

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
