We get a friendly atmosphere all around. Campus is quite good as its present in bit outskirts of the city, though the you can easily find basic amenities near by. Teachers are qualified from various renowned universities and have the experience of providing good lectures. Library need to be developed including the book number as well as its capacity. For admission process online test is conducted every year in the sub-PCB/PCM. They also consider the performance of both 10th and 12th along with the percentile scored in the entrance test. There are a lot of branches and good number offer great career opportunities ahead. There is no such GD or PI but yes there is a good interaction at the time of paper work while admission.
I choose this course as it offers a great diversity of career opportunities ahead. The agriculture course is not that engaging after 1year so you can easily concentrate on preparing for various competitive exams. Infact the agri-based exams are quite similar to that of exams like ocs, bank and all. Faculties are regular in conducting classes with midterm in every 2.5 months and semester exam in 5.5-6months. Interactive sessions, one to one teaching and use of smart boards are most commonly practiced here without any fail. If you get a good rank your fees can easily lie between 1lakh for entire 4yeara but those who are studying on a cost sharing seat they have a feeling structure of 4-4.5lakhs. A increment of 4-5% fee hike every year.
I have not yet worked under any internship.althou my senior have recently worked under some good diary, ngo, cattle feeds, fertilizers industries etc. As per their experience i can say that there is a good entrepreneurial opportunity in agriculture sector and one can also opt for it .
There is no such direct placement opportunities in the campus. Rather you have to prepare for competitive exams and crack them to get a good job including a good package or else opt for higher studies (pg,PhD). I am currently preparing for MBA for which I am opting for the CAT entrance exam to get admitted into a good business school. I even got a backup plan of persuing post graduation from OUAT itself or any good institute outside state like BHU,viswabharati.
Need to add more buliding to compete some of the best universities on basis of infrastructure. Classrooms need to be expanded and more area for practical exposure should be taken to consideration. Campus is placed in a very calm and quite place with a scenes view from the roof all around. There is no much distraction as like any restro bar, club or such near by. I am living in a hostel which is good enough in its occupancy.we get ample space in our rooms (considering 3members per room)for studying, keeping our clothes, books, food items and still left with 20-30% free space. The ground is large enough and regular cricket and football session are being conducted by the students from all years. But the lack of proper maintainance is the only drawback. Additionally there is a outdoor volleyball and badminton court near premises. Mess is run by the students themselves in the hostel and quality of food is quite descent taking into account the monthly charges we pay(2.5-3k,for food only)
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
