- Campus life shown in movies vs in reality is very different. No campus life in my college.
- Crowded with students. Many students are not that mannered .
Remarks :
My senior friend recommended me to enroll or join the college... No discussions , interviews or written tests were conducted for any admission in the college.... They just took my documents and asked for 50% fees..
Course Curriculum Overview :
Bachelor of Commerce is a common course or degree obtained by literally everyone frankly speaking it has no value... I am pursuing this only because i have my family business that i have to continue and expand... Faculty of the college is amazing , experienced and highly qualified.. There is only one problem that their teaching method is outdated and are unable to teach using new methods....
Internships Opportunities :
No internships Projects are given once a year at the time of examinations and have to be sumbitted in deadline. Projects are more focussed on theory than practical knowledge. Practical knowlege is missing i dont know why
Placement Experience :
No placement opportunities available in our campu. My plans after completion of this course is simple i am continuing my family business full time and will continue even after the course completion...

Campus Life :
All the curriculum related books are available in the library. Librarian mam is also very friendly. V- Fiesta is conducted by our college in the middle of year i.e. October or november. In V-Fiesta singing competition , dancing competition and fashion show competition is organized by the college. They also organize various activities according to festivals and occasiona like diya decoration , rangoli making ,tatto making, etc every saturday for 2 months . They conduct social activities under nss like gau sewa, vridha ashram sewa , social awareness and campaigining. Annual function is conducted once a year in jan-feb. There is no such thing like campus everyone hang in the parking and chat and gossip... Annual sports happen once a year for one week including all the main sports activities... There is no social group or clubs that are being runned by students.... Food Fest is also organized by the college in which students are given stalls and they have to sell various food items.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
