- I feel the the i like the most is the people I met here the friends I found here , the are now my life.
- Secondly i think the campus life is quite good , night life , people everywhere anytime we go roaming in the campus feels lively.
- The fest that happen in the college are quite happening and I like them very much, so much things to do many events happening at all the time.
Dislikes
- I dislike the faculty about the college. Even thought they are very knowledgeable no doubt but they still don't know how to teach I feel the teachers in the coaching were way better
- I dislike the food . The mess in the hostel is quite bad , it is just bearable , we occasionally find hairs in food making me to ask parents for money to get food that is eatable and enjoyable at the same time
- I feel hostel politics is quite bad just for a small por (position of responsibility) it just damages the brain hindering academics and mental health.
Remarks :
To get admission in IIT's we need to give and pass JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED exam . At my rank I was getting either it delhi textile branch or it bombay environmental or it bombay chemical bsc in other top 7 IITS . As my hometown is delhi only my preference was IIT Delhi , also it was top ranked in all the iits.I think cuttoff for getting the last admission in IIT Delhi Is around 6k rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I feel one of the bad thing at this prestigious institute is just academics.Firstly IIT kanpur and Delhi is very hard on academics.So scoring here is quite difficult.Meanwhile to get jobs and internships from non circuital branches students mostly either learn from online courses or youtube.As the curriculum is obselete.It has no real life applications.Even the faculties don't know how to teach.Their teaching methods are very bad , students only go to classes to maintain their 75% criteria , no one wants to attend the lectures willingly. Exam happens 4 times for each course per semester 2 quizzes minor and major.Difficulty level is variable as it is depends on the course coordinator.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship opportunities as it is available after the end of 2nd year . But I have heard that the opportunities are not very limited.Many people who apply for it gets the Interships.
Placement Experience :
I am a first year students so I haven't experienced placement activities.However, I volunteered in OCS(office of Career Services) placement activities in December. I have seen some recruiters, and most of them demand a cg>=7. It doesn't matter if the branch is circuital or not. In my opinion, the average package is not disclosed, but I think it might be around 18 to 20 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
so the fees details are as follows 1.5 lakhs is academic fees(containing tuition caution registration admission and development fees) 35k mess fees and 8k hostel fees per sem so net would be around 15 to 16 lakhs for 4 years. for ews and sc st categories I guess there is around 15% for the all the fees.
Campus Life :
Firstly campus life is wonderful.After coming from having no social life for 2 years and just focusing on studies, so much cultural and sports activities boggles the mind.any sports I can name it is in the institute , hockey water polo and what not, I was not much into sports but cultural, dance drama and even spic macay ensuring diversity.One thing which is unique is All the cultural clubs are managed by students only (presidents secy's etc) and one thing all the fest's rdv tryst literati and beacon are managed by students wholly.Coming back to the question the classrooms are quite well , fully air-conditioned and highly first class. The library is also quite mind blowing having the best infrastructure and multiple facilities like ebooks and automatic book submission.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel are alloted to all the fresher of btech, one can opt out and become a day scholar. The hostel's are quite old so infrastructure is a bad point . The mess is either a hit or a miss on national holidays we have special lunch which is usually very good . Otheewise on normal days the food is just bearable , would not recommend anyone by the way. Hostel rooms are allotted randomly for the first year and after then we can choose our roommates and rooms. In my hostel one room is allotted to 3 persons and after 3rd year and on one is allotted single room.I feel that mess fee which is 35k and 8k is hostel rent per semester(6 months) is quite affordable .

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
