I got a seat from nata score through kcet. There were no gd interviews and all direct admission. Pros: affordability, cons: government college, so infrastructure. Nata score will be considered for architecture. No other process. If u get seat, then direct admissions
I was interested in architecture; I got a seat in a top college, as it is a government college, all the faculty will be well qualified, and class will be taken seriously; attendance is compulsory 88%. Exams will be as per the calendar; if u read well, then obviously easy Faculty are experienced teachers. Strict classes will be taken regularly
We had gotten many internship opportunities from college faculty, as the uvvce students have many firms in and around bangalore. So students will be recommended for the firms by professors, but you can find a good firm on your own too.
There will be no placement for architecture students in uvce, but hod will be conducting some placements. But the professors will recommend you to the firms if you are great at work. But anyway, there will be one or two firms coming to hire final-year students. Can opt for that also. There is no placement in uvce for architecture dept you guys need to search on ur own.
Uvce has a decent b.Arch program; the faculty is qualified and provides students with excellent mentorship. Per year the fees will be 30000; there are many scholarships for students who need financial aid. The total fee was 150000. Yes, the fees will be increasing every year.
Life in bangalore university is the best—vibrant and cultural; apart from curriculum, there will be a lot of sports, clubs, and art-related activities to participate in. There is a library with all the books required.
Food was good, but the same menu from 5 years. Affordable only mess fees should be paid free hostel If u need pg or room, you can find it within 2km radius. The hostel is for banglore university where the uvce students will also be aloted with seats, not tha great but worth the price
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
