IIT Bombay- A dream college
Remarks :
The admission process is solely through JOSSA council and there is no interview . JOSSA process starts soon after JEE advance result. I chose IIT bombay because of its great faculty, large campus and great placement record. It is one of the best college in India. The campus is full of greenery and it feels like a new city inside mumbai. There are 18 hostels and great sports and cultural facilities to explore.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Civil Engineering is one of the core branches in Engineering and ia highly reputated one which is why I chose it. It was one of the best course available at my JEE rank. Coming to faculty, it is highly experienced with almost everyone with 25+ years of experience. Teaching methods are highly interactive and up to date in terms of technology. The class rooms are spacious and AC conditioned and have multiple smart boards.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure includes tuition fees , mess fees and hostel fees. Tuition fees is 100000 per semester. The combined fees of mess and hostel is 40k per semester. The initial admission fees is 35k which is later compensated in tuition fees.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is amazing. The fests are something that everyone looks forward to. MOOD indigo is the best event that I have attended. The vibe was contagious. Similarly Techfest and E summit were equally great. All these are conducted in December while e summit happens in February. Coming to the library, it is the best place to study in the campus. The atmosphere is just what you need while studying long hours before exams and quizzes. There are multiple sports grounds and facilities throughout the campus and regular events are held to promote sports. Also there are some 20 + clubs that organize various events and are attended by large number of students
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess is a great place with a capacity of 300 students. It has great food and offers meal 4 times a day. It is at the ground floor of our hostel. The hostel is registered after admission in IIT bombay. It is very affordable financially.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

Placement Experience :
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
