- the college life here is very good and peaceful no one is arrogant or egoistic even the hostel life is very fun and chill the study here is also not that much stressed
- i like the events and functions happening here every now and then
Dislikes
- the infrastructure is very shitty they really need to work upon it. the auditorium is very bad here
- some professors are very rude and egoistic they just come and ready the ppt
Remarks :
i gave JEE mains from that I got admission in this college. the college did not took any GD round and all it was purely JEE score based. the cutoff are high compared to other colleges her. the closing rank for this college cse for general category other state boy was 12000 which is quite high. I preferred this college due to the city advantage
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course is outdated as of all the Indian engineering colleges have. the faculties here is very helpful and supportive I like the energy and dedication of few professors while few are just coming to get paid. I know a professor he gives his personal time to solve our doubts that is really very helpful
Internships Opportunities :
i have not opted for internship yet but I can name companies that come here to hire people some of them are - google Microsoft intel micron JP Morgan Morgan Stanley Goldman Sachs JSW STEEL TATA STEEL airbus
Placement Experience :
the placement is also a very good reason to opt for this college if you see the recent placement rates despite the recession the placement is good. many companies visit here every year to give placements. the placements for the lower branches like aerospace is horrible i dont know why they are not getting placed but the placement of circuital branches is very good
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fees here is 91000 for general category student this is the tuition fees. for SC/ST students and students with income less than 3 lakhs per year there are scholarships there is also a single parent scholarship here. the hostel fees here is 81000 and mess fees is 3000-3500 per month.
Campus Life :
the annual fest of this college the PECfest is a 3 day fest which happens on a very large scale its one of the biggest fests of north India. I was the part of the committee in last pecfest it generally happens in the year of October. The library here is very huge with 3 floors I like the atmosphere there. for sports we have 3 main ground they are huge and the cricket ground is my personal favourite
Hostel Facilities :
the food quality is not that great. we get 4 meals a day in mess. the best of them is breakfast everyone haves it because lunch everyday is below average. the washrooms here are not clean the hostel is not good I recommend to not opt for it and rather stay outside the campus

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
