- Campus is really great the location in awesome great place to have college.
- faculties and academics are good here compared to other colleges here and exams are regularly conducted
Dislikes
- no sports ground is there only a normal hostel ground is. there
- sometimes there are long routines such as 9 -5 due to which students get too tired.
Remarks :
Beautiful campus as well as nice curriculum here and made me choose this college this college is between mountains so a very nice enviourment is there to study also campus is huge and faculties are also good and helpful they always help whenever needed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academics here are good . We have regular lectures , tutorials and lab sessions. internal asssessments and assignments are taken that help reinforce learning. attendance is strictly monitored here sometimes. overall the academic envioument is decent and a lot to learn is there.
Internships Opportunities :
internships are not much available here for btech students there are internships but they are mostly paid or virtual so usually students so internships outside the campus only. Virtual internships are usually promoted here.
Placement Experience :
Placements here are decent with a average package of 4-5 lakhs and students who work hard also get packages of 10-20 lakhs as well the highest package at my time was of 58 lakhs many mnc and product based companies provide good packages to hard working students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees per semester is around 168000 for normal students you can get a discount of 25% if you are from uttarakhand or you scored above 80 % marks in class 12 , admission fees is around 10,000 which will be taken at the time of admission. Merit based scholarship is also there
Campus Life :
life in campus is good you would have several clubs to join such as ncc or nss and you would feel dehradun as a great place to explore when you are not taking classes as well as college infrastructure is great here good clean classrooms air conditioned abs etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are decent and good but hostel food is not much appreciated here but living area is somewhat good and hostel have a ground and usually students do not complain much about hostel here timings of. outings is also decent.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
