Likes
- The DSC Campus is really beautiful with open grounds such as Rose garden for hangouts, evening ground for football, cricket and many more sport activities, My fav was volleyball sport available at DSC for students.
- The campus canteen and maggie point is the best thing about DSC Campus. The maggie point is the most famous part of the college. The college has various department and socities which keeps on organizing events keeping the DSC Life active and fun.
Dislikes
- The DSC Campus is really beautiful however washrooms are something to be worked on. As they need some renovation. Rrest the campus is amazing and beautiful.
- Secondly, there should be more water purifiers available in the campus for students. While they have round 2..3 available at evening block but should also be made available in morning block.
Remarks :
For admission to Dyal Singh College, interview and GD rounds are not conducted for this BA Hons. English. My admission was Merit- based as on 2021. Now, college accepts admission through CUET but not mandatory interview or any other selection rpun ds.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Faculty of Dyal Singh College is really helpful and amazing, The course is really interesting and great to study about. The curriculum is not hectic and students can study and learn with help of the faculty available there all the time for students.
Internships Opportunities :
no, i havent opted for any inetrnship at Dyal Singh College lodhi road, However, the course and currriculum is worth to opt for. The course is good and students have various oppurtunities in future after completing graduation in English Hons.
Placement Experience :
The placement is good however organized at evening campus. Dyal singh college lodhi road, has its own placement cell which organizes and brings placement oppurtunities for students. Students can apply and register offline or online as per their choice.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees at Dyal Singh College, lodhi road for B.A. English Hons, quite affordable. It is around INR 14,000-20,000 PER SEMESTER. Yes, DSC provides scholarship such as Merit- based and for PwD candidates get almost full fee concession.
Campus Life :
Life at Dyal Singh College is really amazing. There are many societies for students to participate in such as Drama, Dance, Fashion etc. The campus stays active with many events going on at the Amphithiatre. It is one of the favourite place of students to hangout and gossip, an open area to enjoy events and fests.
Hostel Facilities :
The canteen food is really good. DSC does not provide any hostel facilities as of now. But students can easily find PGs and flats./rooms nearby the college campus- Lodhi Road. For example, lajpat nagar, south-ex etc.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
