Course Curriculum Overview :
I have interest in Mechanical engineering and also IIT delhi mechanical is under top 70 Mechanical engineering in the world as per QS. No doubt Faculty is much qualifies mostly have done PhD from foreign university or from another IIT The frequecy of exams is much high. We have Mid sem and end sem exams and alsong with this we alsmost have quizes every week and assignment deadline also in every week. Some courses also have semester project making schedule much hectic
Internships Opportunities :
650 intern offers were given in phase one of last intern season, many companies like Optiver and IMC too come to IIT delhi give the dream packages of 25 lacs per month to Microsoft and google like companies also come. Microsoft have done walk in interview to make the job process much easier. Along with this off campus interns are available to all
Placement Experience :
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
there is a tuition fees of 100000 per semester and there are two semester each year. Then there is extra 14850 for each semester for exam, gymkhana etc. The hostel fees is about 36000 per semester. there is about 5000 caution money which is reimburse at the end of the degree. talking about scholarship for SC/ST candidates tuition fees of 1 lac is free and there is also compensation for hostel mess fees in some cases, I don't know much about that, for General and OBC there is Merit Cum Scholarship available if parental income is less than 1 lac, tuition fes is free i.e about 1 lac but no compensation for mess fees, if the family income is between 1 lac to 5 lac then 2/3 of tuition fees it 67000 is free, but no compensation for mess fees
Campus Life :
There are 2-3 fest every semester including rendevous, tryst, literati, becon etc. rendevous is done in october while other are done in even semester about febuary and march most of the books and journol are available in library the extracurriculun is much good in IIT delhi there are many clubs and talking about sports most of the sports are there in iit with good coaches available and there are inter hostel comps making these things much competetive
Hostel Facilities :
food quality is decend. Although it sometimes get worse the main reson is the repetition of same food along with this there are night messes so food is available 24*7 in the campus mess is affordable but IIT delhi mess fees is higher than other IITs and God" know what the reason is but food is edible cook in cleanliness

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
