- I like college campus. There is greenry everywhere.
- Teachers are supportive and we can find good friends to hang out with

- I do not like the facilities in some of the classrooms.
- Not many fests are organised by the college.
Remarks :
Admissions are on the basis of JEE scores for Btech. Different streams are alloted on the basis of JEE scores to the students. I choose this college because i scored 89 percentile in JEE and i was not getting CSE in NITs so a government college was a choice for me and i did not want to choose private college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
CSE is very demanding stream for the market place. Today computer is the future. So i choose CSE. Also i have a great passion for cmputer science and i love coding. Faculty is well qualified and they have years of experience for teaching. We have two exams in a semester-mid terms and end terms. I am in my 2nd year and there is no fees hike yet. There is schorship for poor students and for category students.
Internships Opportunities :
In the 8th semester there is internship under college. College helps students to get some internship in some good places. There are paid internships for students in places like IITs too. Students make projects and some are also placed in same company.
Placement Experience :
For placements criteria is 7.5 cgpa. Recruiters that come for recruiting are TCS, KPMG, HDFC, SBI, Flipkart, Swiggy. Most companies do mass recruiting and give basic package. Highest package offered was 20 lakh by amazon last year and average is of 5 lakh per annum. My plan is to get a decent job in tech industry and try for MBA through CAT exam.
Campus Life :
There is a yearly fest called Jashan. Many competitions are held inter department. Many departments also held their own fests but still fests are not very common here. You will not find many fests here unlike private colleges. There is huge libraray which i like is best here. You will find many books of very stream. GNDU is known for its sports performance. Many sports and extracirricular activities are held here. Yes social groups, clubs are run by students. For boys there are two hostels and both have two mess each. Students have choice to join any mess of their alloted hostel. Food is ok not very nice. In breakfast choice is of paratha, egg omelete, bread butter, bread omete and some other customisations. Choice between milk or tea. Mess is affordable like 35rs per diet.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
