- I like the campus life it has soo much greenery, it has good infrastructure. It has music room, gym room, canteens, juice corner, stationaries, and one large central library, and one small library.
- Faculties are very experienced with good knowledge. They are supportive guided us very well. There teaching is also good.
Dislikes
- The gardens should be more clean. And grass should be cut often. The road should be built again as it has potholes.
- There should be more opportunities for core branch. More equipment and practical practices should be studied more for core branches.
Remarks :
This college has good placement opportunities and good environment for studying also it has in less distance from my home. I didn't face any group discussion and interviews for admission. Admission will be based on the marks of CGPET exam score or JEE score.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good, I choose this course because of placement opportunities. Faculties are experienced and supportive they have high knowledge. Exams occurs every semester which we call as semester exams and before semester exam two Class test will be taken and every week monday test is taken. Difficulty level of exam is moderate. Fees is reasonable. Total cost is around 320000 approximately. Also they assist in taking scholarship such as ST/SC/OBC scholarship, minority Scholarship etc.
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the companies offered internships with a pay of 20k per month. They generally gives questions of coding to solve in their recruitment process or take aptitude test before and then take the interview.
Placement Experience :
Some companies have eligibility criteria of 60% throughout academics with no active backlogs. And most of them don't have any criteria. There are lots of placement opportunities for technical and non technical students. I myself got placed in two companies. First one is non technical i.e extramarks and other one is MNC i.e Capgemini. If u don't placed in any company then try to upskill your knowledge and try reaching out to startup companies or apply to companies as many as you can. Or go for higher studies if you're interested in any field to pursue. Around 600 students got placed during my placements.
Campus Life :
Samvid is the name of our fest. It generally conducted in march or April. Our college has two libraries and availability of books is high also it has journals and a good large space for reading in library. Classrooms are big and spacious with good ventilation fan, lights and tables. There are many events related to gaming, studying such as cricket, football, basketball tournaments and make-a-thon, coding tournaments etc. Our college has social clubs like nsui, NSS, IEEE Cell, etc. also has many social groups or website run by students. Hostel has moderate food quality, has great spacious rooms and seperate toilets and a maid regularly cleans them. Hostel has lift, and balcony. For rented rooms and PG there are lot of options near college. Chauhan town, Smriti nagar, are good option for PG, Rooms near college.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
