Likes
- teachers very cooperative and provides motivation to students. and optimistic.
- the computer labs are very helpful with latest equipments and high speed wifi.
Dislikes
- the college is more focused on the studies and not towards other activities like fest and functions.
- our college have nice parks to sit and study but not have a playgroud to play outdoor games in the college for playground we have to travel.around 700 meters to play cricket and other games
Remarks :
I chose Mimit College because this college is the only one that provides B.tech in computer science and engineering in my local area and it is the best and govt college . I did my admission to this college by paying 6000 rs fees and 30 thousand rs semester fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I have a done by 12th with non medical and I have a science background and I am interested in computer science and engineering .and the teachers are all well qualified and their teaching method is really good. the exams are held at the end of the semester of 6month and the difficulty level is medium. the semester fees are quite affordable and they also provide scholarships based on marks and other reasons and financial issues like Sc caste and PMS and PMs scholarship. schemes
Internships Opportunities :
yes, I got an internship at a company named Solitaire Infosys in Mohali Punjab This company provided me a six months of industrial. training and a stipend of 10k rs after 2 months of joining. Now I'm doing my training session it is quite good and advanced.
Placement Experience :
in my course, the placements and jobs in the field are quite average. the companies are like startups and service companies arrive every year and provide an average package of 3 to 6lpa Every student can sit in the. placement drive and apply for a job the lower package offered this year is 3 lpa and the max package offered is 6lpa.
Campus Life :
the campus life of college is quite decent and the college provides labs and a library which have all the facilities like the latest books and ac halls and the latest specifications PCs and the hostel is near to the campus and the rooms are quite average and the food is good and the bathrooms of hostels are average. the college conducts sports programs and functions like cricket tournaments and cultural functions.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
