Remarks :

First of all, talking about the admission process, it was smooth, this is a Gujarati minority college so it's a plus one if you are a Gujarati you can also get access to minority seats I scored 90.50 percentile in my MHT CET examination, and got in through minority seats. The college is not excellent the teaching faculty is average though you will find one or two good faculties also there is also an incubation cell over here I don't know how functional it is startup culture is somewhat encouraged over here also you become a part of prestigious Somaiya brand whereby many opportunities open for you if you act smartly and wisely, the teachers are supportive many of the times, but the 75 percentage attendance is an issue according to me, there are numerous clubs and societies which are also actively organizing events, the fest ( cultural ) is amazing people are also decent here also mess food is good we also have a hostel facility if you are an outsider(non-Maharashtra

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes I am a student of the computer engineering department the teachers are fairly qualified but not that great many of them are PhDs, every semester there are 2 term tests and a single end-semester examination difficulty level is slightly above average, you can easily pass if you even pay attention in lectures. Talking about the fees they generally hike 9-10 percent every year, if you are from Maharashtra you can avail MAHA DBT scholarship which I also availed whereby you get 50 percent money-back on your tuition fees particular, criteria is that you should have a family income less than 8 lahks per annum.

Internships Opportunities :

I haven't opted for any kind of internship so I don't have any knowledge about the same but as far as I know, companies don't visit for internship interviews they only come for final placements ........

Placement Experience :

The eligibility criteria for all companies are different but if you score 8.5 without any KT you can sit for most of the companies. IDFC bank, Infosys, BNP Paribas, Nvent, and Seclore tech are a few companies that visit the campus ( the companies may change ) the highest on-campus package was 12 LPA off-campus was 17.6 LPA avg is 3-4, the placement percentage is low, and many students go for higher studies also there are learned people on campus who will guide you for higher studies very nicely.

Campus Life :

So there are 2 fests SURGE which is a cultural festival and, amazingly, you can't miss that they organize it very nicely it's conducted in March, there is Renaissance the technical festival which is conducted in December also there is Score the sports fest before SURGE, there is huge library over here and you probably don't have to spend a single rupee on books you can get them from here you have a decent sized playground where you can play naming some clubs those are GDSC IET IETE S4DS they are active and you will enjoy being a part of these there is fun and learning both Hostel is good and decent but the fees is a bit on the higher side the food is above average not so good not so bad.

An industry focused learning experience

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
