- The has great teaching methods and qualified faculty.
- The college has good facilities which are necessary and a advance infrastructure.
- The campus life is cool having great clubs on board and exciting fests.
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike is despite being a established college for 20+ years college has not done wonders in the placement stuff.
- The college is autonomous but majorly follows Mumbai University in syllabus and the exams which could be changed.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it is one of the top 10 institutes in Mumbai University. Also, this college comes under the Somaiya trust which makes it reputed. There nothing like group discussion or admission. You have to give entrance exams like MHT-CET and JEE. The minimum mark to get admission in this course is 95 percentile in MHT-CET. For computer engineering, it is 97 percentile. The college is located in core Mumbai. This college has great teaching and decent placement. Also, the college has great labs. There are no such noteworthy bad aspects of the college but it can improve on placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course because it a great combo of core computer science fundamentals and also provides in depth knowledge for artificial intelligence and data science which is very useful for near future. The faculty is decently qualified. They follow teaching methods which makes students industry ready. There are two term exams and one end semester exam. The term exam is conducted at completion of 40% syllabus almost after two months. The exams are moderate and can be cracked easily with decent amount of study. The fees for our batch will be same throughout our four years(180k). There is not much fee hike. There are various scholarships offered by the government of Maharashtra to the reserved category candidates. Also, there are scholarships for EWS category candidates.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria often vary from company to company. The recruiters which visit on campus are IDFC Bank, Accenture, Deloitte, Seclore etc. The highest package is provided by IDFC first Bank. The package offered is 13-14 lpa. The average package varies between 4-5 lpa. Majority of students are placed and those who are not placed purse master's. My foremost plan after getting degree is to get a decent placement.
Campus Life :
The college has two fests. The technical fest is conducted in odd semesters. The annual fest is conducted in even semester. It is named Surge. The library has all the types of books which are useful to students. The classrooms are well-equipped and ventilated. The classroom has a projecto as well. The college has a good sports culture. College has two grounds. There various extracurricular activities carried out on campus. There are various clubs and committees on campus like GDSC Robocon S4DS NSS ISTE CSI IEEE etc. The college has a hostel. You can get d in canteen.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
