- As for disliking there is nothing such to be disliked about my College everything is well and good.
- The one drawback is that if we want to go for playing outdoor we have to wait till the class scheduled time to is done, we can't go in between.
Remarks :
I have been hearing lot about my university when I was in pu and high school, that is why I opted for this College. And as per the course selection I wanted to go to emerging medical field that is why I opted for medical imaging, it's quite interesting course and if we talk about the scope it really has a good scope and in future it will have a very good name and its currently one of the emerging field in medicine. It's a 3.6 year(3 year of theory and 6 month internship)course till our batch currently it's of 4 years(3 year study+ 1 year internship). Admission process was pretty quick and good, we had to go to the admission section and fill the forms and then the fee payment. for admission they look for percentage of 70+ in pcmb category. Admission process can also be done through online with online gee transaction.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I have mentioned earlier I found this field interesting and its one of the rapidly emerging field in medicine. All the faculties are master graduated and head of the department is a MD graduated. As for exams it will be annual exam for 3 years with 3 sessionals per year, best of 2 sessionals will be calculated for the internal marks for final exams. Exams are pretty okey , not so difficult. The total cost of course is 378,000 , first year- 128,000 second year- 125,000 final year- 125,000. Internship is for free , it done in the Nitte hospital itself. This fee reference is as per the year of my enrollment, there might be a small increase in fee as per now. General government provided scholarships can be applied yearly. Since I haven't taken up any financial assistance, I don't know about it .
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided from our college itself. As soon as we complete our final exam of final year our internship period starts. The internship is in our own hospital i.e., Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Derlakatte.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is a 3 year completion of course with first attempt with atleast 3 month of internship. Placement is not provided by the management. We have to apply for hospitals for job. The starting package is 20 k to 35 k. It increases with experience. My plans after getting the degree is to get a master's degree.
Campus Life :
Cultural events are conducted every year( last conducted day was 1st week of December 2023), sports events will be going on frequently with a yearly sports day( last sports day was on 2nd week of feb 2024). And various events are conducted yearly for each departments like food fest radiology day and many more interesting and fun activities. Various types of books are available, we have many libraries like one in the academy one in the department and in other departments too. We have ample amount of books and journals for reference as per our need. Well equipped classes are provided every year. Various clubs are available too. And gymnastics, indoor stadium, yoga sessions, playground are available. Since I'm a day scholar i dont have idea about hostel life.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
