- Campus life was great, there were a lot of events happening around the year
- Finance and marketing faculty is really good.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is a big problem here, a lot of time is lost in travelling from and to classes
- There is no library facility in the hostel area.
Remarks :
The placements are really good as compared to other 3rd generation iim. It is one the fastest growing IIM. Clearing CAT was the basic criteria. After that there was an interview, you need to separately fill form for this college, they doesn't conduct their process process in CAP round. Good thing is the professors are really good bad part is there is no campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty in this college is quite good, they have a good chortled of marketing and finance teachers but they lack on analytics amd operations faculty. There are six trimester in the whole curriculum. Loan is easily provided by any bank that too without any collateral.
Internships Opportunities :
There are more than 100 companies that visit the campus for hiring interns like adani group ,ICICI group, big fours, Amazon,cognizant etc. Average stipend is around 25k per month that is offered currently.
Placement Experience :
The job opportunities are ample. More than 110 companies visit the campus every year offering some great packages and role. Highest domestic package for this year was 29 lpa and highest international was 65 lpa. 100% of the students get place.
Campus Life :
Currently the college is operated in temporary campus, so the accommodation and college are at two different places and you have to travel by college bus which is tiring. There are a lot of events that goes around the year. The annual fest aarunya takes place in Feb. There are majorly four conclaves and every club committee has its own events as well, there are around 25 club committees.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
