My admission process was online and I had to give an entrance exam which had English proficiency questions and logical reasoning questions, followed by an interview. However, since the shift to offline, the exam is mostly an English essay for 30 minutes followed by an interview with the faculty. Be sure to be dressed formally for the interview, since that makes a huge impression.
I chose this course because it's a passion and dream of mine to become a clinical psychologist. Christ is the only one who gives Bsc Psychology Hons in India. The course is rigorous and structured in such a way that makes it easier for you to apply to universities abroad because it covers all the practical and research aspects. The course is well renowned in academic circles. The faculty all have PhDs and are very qualified, even though the teaching could be better. The term exams are always on time and the difficulty level depends on the subject and the level of preparation. The fees have recently been increased since the course is now for 4 years and has a lot more practical aspects. For example, students are taught how to properly administer psychometric tests to clients in a professional setting. There are a bunch of scholarships and financial assistance programmes that you can apply for, some of which are need based, merit based or based on extra curricular achievements.
Completion of 2 internships is compulsory for the completion of our course. The university does not provide any such opportunities. The students have to look for internships themselves. Although this can be inconvenient, it does provide a lot of good communication skills.
Engineering and Management courses have a great deal of placement opportunities with a lot of good companies. Psychology students can sit with BBA students for placement and have a chance of getting placed with them.
There are a lot of intra and inter college fests that happen in the even semester. The ethnic day is a huge deal and a lot of fun filled with dancing and music. The libraries are fully stocked. All the classrooms have projectors. There are a lot of student groups on campus which give you a range of experiences. All three wings of NCC is available in all campuses. The boys hostel is supposedly good, though strict and is very affordable. I live in a PG just across campus. There are a lot of other accomodation facilities all around the campus.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
