- I dislike its Infrastructure, and it's limited campus area.
- Many professors are bad and not teaching as they should to a Newby
Remarks :
I chose this as it was considered a good college in all the present GFTI and I had given JEE and I got my seat here through JOSAA counseling held by NTA. I had prepared for these rounds through Self-study and took a bit of help from my elder sister.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because according to my JEE rank, I was getting only this in JOSAA counseling. Some professors are great and some are good. Can't say they are bad. Exams are there every 1.5 months and are pretty difficult as far as my course is concerned.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for an internship and we get different opportunities in different profiles. Many big companies visit here like Microsoft, JPMC, Amex, Goldman sacs, Arcesium, McKinsey, Cevent, and more.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are good here. Can say if you are working hard on yourself and your skills, you will get one good internship and a good Placement. Also maintaining a good CG is recommended. The highest package from here in this year is 60L per annum. And the average package is 6L.
Campus Life :
Campus life is great here. People have some good places like Nescafe and pec market to socialize normally. Here are 4 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. 1st year gets Shivalik Hostel, 2nd year gets Aravali Hostel, 3rd Year gets Kurukshetra Hostel and 4th year gets Himalaya Hostel.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
