- I like the faculty they are very cooperative . I like the cafeteria.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not good we only got 1 building and no ground only a basement to sit in free lecture .
- You don’t feel like you’re in college you get the vibe of school . Even school are big than the campus
Remarks :
It’s affiliated with ggsipu which is a central university. And only dseu and Ggsipu provide bca course . In dseu eligibility criteria you need maths and in Ggsipu you need maths or cs I have cs ( computer science). so I give ipucet exam in which I get 1589 rank out of around 10000 student and I got the top 3 rd college of bca . I done my preparation of entrance exam by ipu entrance book and some YouTube videos . Cut off’s are high in starting two rounds but then thay are stable. there are total 3 rounds and a spot round .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I basically choose bca because I want to pursue career in IT field. In this field you need right skills and bca provide a lot of IT skills basic to advance . In 2022 after pandemic Ggsipu update the curriculum and add new up to date languages and subjects so that student got the right skills . College faculty is ok ok they got strict because of attendance otherwise teacher teach in a very professional manner . We have a semester of 6 month in which after 3 months internal exam take place then the final exam . In my opinion fees is too much but they give us good classroom with AC and projector , computer labs . Mostly teacher have a phd or masters .
Placement Experience :
Minimum 6 cgpa to sit on placement interview. Amazon , tcs , Deloitte highest package of around 6lpa and minimum 3.5 lpa . Most of the eligible student got placed . I go for masters in buisness administration (mba )
Campus Life :
Our annual college fest called Fiesta conducted around February and march every year . We got all the magazines , newspapers, competitive exam and other books. There are societies in college but college do not fund any society student pay with their own pocket if they need any financial support . Kranti , campus radio , nach baliye , these are some societies in iitm . IITM doesn’t have any hostel but the campus cafeteria food quality is good and affordable. If someone wants to rent a room or pg they can get room or pg in janakpuri or Tilak Nagar area if they want cheap room or pg they can go for Uttam Nagar .

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
