College was allotted on the basis of marks obtained in 12th standard. But now admission is based upon the rank obtained in CUET competitive examination. There were no any group discussion or interview process it was direct process on the basis of marks.
There are total 40 seats in BA economics (H) course. Course curriculum is based on CBCS System. All the faculties are well qualified and follow the best teaching method everyone is well experienced faculties. Examination process is semester wise and conducted in every 6 months. Examination difficulty level is thought but our qualified teacher made it easier. Fee is hiked about 20% every year. There is no any scholarship directly given by college.
I have not opted any internship directly from college yet because it is not available in college but University offer internship every year in summer vacation named Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme with 10k stipend. Eligible candidates are selected and sent in different government ministries .
There is also a society for placement named " Placement Cell" students joined society to get placement and different companies. To be very honest there is no direct placement after graduation but sometimes it get on good packages.
Campus of the college is very small and infrastructure is also very old and not maintained from many years. Some fest are conducted in month of February and march. Library is full of about all types of books and journals and it is well maintained but condition of classroom is not very good. There are so many societies running actively by the students of college some of them are " Prarambh" for civil service society, NSS, Gender c hampionship and many more. There is no hostel facility in the college. PGs are avilable in locality on affordable price like 3k to 5k in Lado Sarai gaw 1 km from college.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
