- Good Placement opportunities - Compared to other govt colleges the placements are great only
- Overall there is not much work load in college
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not upto the mark like many things can be upgraded in campus
- Campus life is okay only since majority of students are from Punjab and Chandigarh so most of them return back to their homes on weekend so generally few activities are there
Remarks :
The main factors for choosing the college were --> i>Placement records are great at PEC ii> The college location is also very excellent iii>Decent Brand Value Admission Process--> For B.Tech admissions the intake is through JEE Mains and then the highest cutoff is for the Computer Science branch which is around 10k for General other state students and 14k for General Home State Students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course Curriculum is updated and with the industry trends, academics wise also there are decent faculties for each department. In computer science, generally, for each subject, experienced professors are allotted. Then talking about scholarships only a few students get a chance for a scholarship and all the details in depth in present on the college website. Talking about the exam in each semester we have majorly one mid-semester exam, 3-4 quizzes, and a final end-semester exam, and the grading system in exams are relative.
Placement Experience :
There are good placements and job opportunities present on campus. A decent number of companies visit colleges every year for placements and the majority of the students get placed. Companies from the majority of sectors visit the campus. The detailed stats regarding placements are present on the college website only.
Campus Life :
College life on campus is average only. All types of clubs and societies are there in the college and events are frequently held throughout the semester. College Fest happens once every year in November which is on a great level. Infrastructure-wise all facilities and things are present but one issue is the spacing issue the auditorium, open-air theatre, and library are small and cannot accommodate many students. In the sports department, all types are available to play and annual sports meets are also held every year for college students. Then many clubs are run by students and going great. Then talking about the hostels there are 4 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels having all the basic facilities but the price of the hostel is quite high compared to other government colleges, the yearly hostel fees are 69k and mess fees are not included in this that is separate around 2-3k per month and the quality of mess food is average only like everywhere.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Placements are average on comparison with other private colleges around here Highest package this year - 11.3Lpa The teachers help very much in placements and internship . The TPC cell of the college is dead for their work

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
