college have a good ambience and provided space with all the basic amenities that needed and the bad part is that the college need to manage the things properly. the admission process is quite easier all you need to do is you can go for on campus or off campus directly you have to fill up the form with necessary details about you and the admission cell people will verify your details and when it is done yu need to submit the 1st semister fees and collect your challan and wait for the session to start its simple no GD nothing you have to just wait for it and no written exams are taken in the campus .
the course is quite good as the mechanical field is quiet growing field when i was about to took the admission and i found a college for which some of my colleagues used to study there and shared a good review about the college and i visited directly to the college and took the admission, the faculty is very potential here all the mentors are highly educated and they provide a good level of explanation to our courses withthe practical knowledge of the specific field. the exams were helfd every 6 months of the semister timely and the difficulty level was not much all you need to go through the desired book what the mentors assign to the students if any students go through the study material it is easier for one to clear all the exam in the desired time. the fee hike likely depend on the management and recreational purpose and the cost to study is efficent in the college. the college also provide scholarship to the merit students and the students who have physical disability.
YES i have gone through the industrial training there are many local or PSu organisation who provide internship to the fellow students to undergo the basic requirments of the student so that they can be placed in a good organization and the company they even provide some kind of stipend amount to the student who comes from various diffrent states to complete their training in a easier way. the projects that the college made so far is for the farmes as the students have created many prototybe projects that have helped the local farmers to cultivate their farm in a good way.
all you need to appear for a placement is you need to achieve a good marks in all the semister and the on campus placement team will come and they will take a short interview about you and the cource and if you are willing to join any organisation, some of the few recruiters that visited are SWARAJ, TCS, ARTEL, BHEL, MAHINDRA, SAIL with the minimum package od 4.5 lacks and the highest goes to 10lack. almost 50% student are getting placed in different sectors of the field and making their name. after when i complete the degree i need to go for the higher education in the same college.
the life of the campus here is good as the ambience and the greenery is awesome in this place it has a huge garden to roam around and the fest like 'AARambh' and many other co-cirrucilar activities are held. the institute has a large library space with all the basic genere and books available for the students to help in their respected field. the college conduct sports meet for all the students who can participate like cricket, football, volleyball, tug of war, in the campus. the students here are active on the social sites the post various kind of post about the college you can go and surf through them easily. the hostel here comes with a sharing NON AC & AC ROOMS, the food quality is good as compared to the other as remain constant and the menu is also good having a proper canteen to hang out there the registration process for the hostel is easy you need to enroll at the time of admission and it depends upon the avalibility.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
