- Curriculum in our college is so good. It is completely industry oriented curriculum with all the latest concepts involved in it. College helps us to grasp various core concepts right from the first semester.
- Every year there is a placement growth in the college. Ample amount of opportunities are provided by college to crack placements. Average package is also decent.
Dislikes
- The scheduling of the classes is irritating sometimes and we need to shift to other classes after a class is finished.
- Mess food is not that great. You don't feel any taste.
- The fees is so high in the college when compared to other colleges
Remarks :
One has to give JEE-Mains exam and apply for JOSAA Counselling to get an admission here. The closing percentile for a general student will be around 95-96. Our college provides very good placements and most importantly the curriculum here is so advanced. Since IIIT-Hyderabad is the mentor, you can expect good academics here. This is a vital factor that made me choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college has a curriculum that mainly focusses on the core concepts of the program. Computer science, Electronics and communication, Artificial Intelligence and Data science are the three courses available here. I choose ECE because I am deeply interested in VLSI and Chip designing. The faculty here are highly qualified. Almost everyone has their Ph.D from reputed institutes. Students here can do research(Honors) if the CGPA after 4th semester is more than 8 . We have three term exams and the duration of each semester is 4 months. Once in a month the term exams are conducted. In between scheduled quizzes are also conducted. I can rate the difficulty level of term exams as 6.5/10 . Fee structure in this college is somewhat high compared to other colleges. We need to pay almost 4 lakh per year and every year there is a hike of 10 thousand . However , students seek financial assistance through education loans and scholarships like NSP etc.
Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are very good. Every year we see an exponential placement growth rate. The main eligibility criteria to sit for placements is to meet the CGPA set by the company and desired skills. The highest package is of 120 l.p.a and avergae package is around 16 l.p.a . Amazon, IDFC, Jio, Walmart, nvidia, swiggy adn other companies recruit student from our college. . The placement percentage is around 85-90%.
Campus Life :
We don't have much to discuss about campus life in our college. The institute is located far away from city. You cannot expect any restaurants, malls near by college. Moreover we are busy with our hectic academic life and cant find time to explore things. Chennai is 2 hour distance from our campus. Abhisarga is the annual fest conducted in our college in spring semester. It is conducted in the month of February or March. We have a library where you can find plenty of journals and books. You can find all the course related stuff there. Centralized AC classrooms and projectors are an extra edge to our college. Once in an year Inter-UG tournaments are conducted. Basketball, volleyball, cricket, football etc you can see in the tournament. Clubs run by students are Nirvana, GDSC, Epoch, Enigma, and many more. Hostel amenities are decent. Freshers get a three sharing room, each provided with a table, cup-board, table and chair. You don't get any hot water facility. Mess food is just ok

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
