I gave CUET for this college. Since its a very reputed college i always wanted to get in this college. Im from Jaipur so Delhi is also at perfect distance from my home so i can visit monthly. DU had such a craze in my school that i also wanted to join in here.
The fees is pretty decent, only a 17,000 annually. The course curriculum is like a 1000 years old and so are the faculty members mind. We have so much matriarchal problems with professors. Not even one professor is supportive and cooperative. The sem end exams are pretty much easy if you study well. The IAs or CAs are taken as per teacher convenience. There are few scholarships and financial aid provided by the college.
We have an annual fest for internships . We get around 30+ companies to come and provide opportunities for us. They are usually paid internships with average stipend of 5-15k per month. They are usually for digital marketing, social media, content creator etc. this year we had zomato for placements as well .
Since i am in Placement cell of my college i have pretty good knowledge about it. Placement opportunities for Economics hons and computer science have a pretty good deal as freshers. Other BA or Bsc courses are overlooked in this matter.
The campus is quite large and beautiful. Our annual fest is tempest conducted in April. Its a 2 day event which was pretty fun. Library is quite large with modern infrastructure. There is a good amount of book available for students. We have 30+ societies in our college with a teacher in charge they are not completely student driven. But you do get to learn a lot from these societies. Every society has its own individual fest as well. Hostel is extremely pretty but very old buildings with no ac or even coolers. The mess food is okayish sometimes good. The fees is very low o hostel as well.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
