I chose the college mainly because during the year 2021, its NIRF ranking was 13 which is considering pretty good. The good parts about the college are definitely its infrastructure. There are air conditioners in each classrooms and each floor has several lecture theatres. The auditorium is huge as well. The bad part about the college includes the general right wing leaning politics of the college as a whole. Oftentimes, speakers who are invited resort to hate speech towards a certain religious minority. The faculty, too, harbours dated views on several things and the atmosphere of the college is not liberal at all, despite claiming so. Not only that, the office work is lousy. Students are stuck with their funds(prizes won in competitions etc.) not being passed for months, sometimes more than an year.
I chose my course because I love the subject. The faculty is highly qualified but the classes do suffer a lot because the teachers aren't getting paid on time. The exams have been timely and the difficulty has varied throughtout semesters and papers, it depends entirely on which teacher is setting the paper. The fees has been hiked each successive year, starting from 11k in the first year to 25k in the last. Upon student protest, 2k was deducted.
The college has timely fests, including the annual fest called Kalrav which is celebrated around April. It is an amalgamation of a variety of competitions and shows. Plus, the societies in the college are pretty versatile. There is a place for everyone and their hobbies. The societies also conduct independent fests and various competiotions which makes for an active year all round. The library of the college is well supplied. However in some cases there is a lack of enough copies of one book. Apart from that, the library has a good collection of novels and journals as well.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
