Remarks :
One of the oldest and most reputed engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh. For admission, you have to appear for the CGPET exam. The cutoff for different branches varies from a range of 70 to 50. If you are a jee aspirant CGPET isn't that tough but if not then you can prepare it by reviewing all the 11 and 12 science notes of yours.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty members in our college are good and experienced. Most of them have an M.Tech in the related field of their teaching. However the college management also keeps them busy with co-curricular activities happening within the college. We have 4 internal exams (2 Per Semester) and mid semester and end-semester exams. There are various scholarships available for SC/ST/OBC Students and there are some scholarships specifically for General categories students also.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no such internship provided by college side students have to search and apply for it on their own. College only provides a letter for vocational training that to for 30-40 days only.
Placement Experience :
our college, almost 80% of students are placed. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc, visit our campus. Almost 70% of students get internships.
Campus Life :
Our college is the best college for engineering courses in Chhattisgarh state, labs are good enough, Wi-Fi and LAN facilities available but canteen and sports facility are poor. There are various clubs to join. Kaushalam is the college fest that happens in March mostly which is almost completely organized by students of 4 and 3 years. Hostel facility is available for both girls and boys. There are three hostels namely Shaheed Veernarayan, bilasa and Panchseel. The scholarship is given to students who are enrolled in the hostel. The hostel is available category-wise. Preference is given to brilliant students from SC, ST, and OBC categories.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
