- i liked about my college that i will complete my graduation in minimal fee.
- and in my college category our gec is better than another colleges as location ,study and friendly behavior.
Dislikes
- this is very old as it is built in 1960 so the vibe is very lite for us.
- and college have less no of ground and gathering point as infrastructure wise college is very poor.
Remarks :
I cleared the entrance exam called cgpet after that in the counseling process and college verified documents, then in merit-based I chose the electrical branch further, the college provides affordable education at less tuition fee. The cut-off cs branch goes to a high max of 400 ranks required for that and the electrical branch there 300-1000 ranks required to gain admission to the electrical branch. the entrance exam is so easy there is no preparation requirement for this exam. Only 11, and 12 syllabi are asked so you can cover this through your board.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in electrical appliances and engineering that's why I chose this branch, College faculty members have at least a master's degree in their field, The college runs in semester system so in one year 2 sem exam is conducted, and in semester two classes test and five quizzes will organize which marks matter in the final result, the difficulty level is not hard as competitive exam you can clear that exam one night before the exam, for general students you have to come in merit for a scholarship for a tuition fee waiver and obtain sc, sc cast students to have a post-matric scholarship which is easily provided by the college.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship yet as I am in my first year but students go internships in the second year of there college, and in the last year every student has to submit their project which is compulsory for their degree completion.
Placement Experience :
You have to maintain the top cgpa in your class for placement criteria but colleges don't provide good placement, you have to clear an exam for yourself as the college only provides you degree, and every student thinks of govt exam for a job there is no placement in college.
Campus Life :
The college organizes two fests in a year one technical fest and another cultural and sports fest named Kaushlam, another name has not been released yet as I am in my first year and Kauslam is held in February, and the tech fest is held in September. Colleges have a library for books for academics but there is a lack of self-help books in college, in social groups there is a separate group for interest-wise. There is a hostel facility also for every category student and every year student for girls and boys both and the quality of food is not as good as expected.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
