- I like that college provide education in less fee with strict study schedule than other gec's and some faculty member are much supportive for student and campus life is not very good at all .
- Good things of college is that it's locality compare to another college this college are surrounded by many college and 2 central college which make college batter than other gec in chhattisgarh.
Dislikes
- And there is wine shop near college by which you suffer in night if you stay in hostel which is jungle area .
- And this area provide bad quality of food as well as many student suffer from stomach related disease and quality of water is also not good at all so you have to take much care about hair if you love in this area .
Remarks :
I want to do Btech from Chhattisgarh and it is a college that provides education for less fee and don't want to go far from my family. I write an exam named CGPET which is conducted every year and after qualifying written exam I faced a counseling process in which documents are very by the college staff. After that college faculty sends an email and msg to join the college with the date that's all.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course duration is 4 years named Btech earlier it was BE But 4-5 years ago it was changed to btech. I chose this course because I am interested in computers and their mechanisms and compared to another computer-related course it is better than the other related to all criteria. Some faculty are PhD holders and everyone has their master's degree taught despite most CS, faculty being private which is beneficiary for us related to freedom which is required us as a college student because we have to do many things in college. This course has a semester system that occurs over six months and under this, we have to take 2 CT exams (class tests) which matter in our results. Here college provides scholarships to every OBC, SC and ST student. And the general category facing difficulty in taking scholarships.
Internships Opportunities :
I not opt any internship yet as I am first year but soon I will do intern by any company. I will look towards online and offline internship as our seniors are supportive as well as technical also so this is not point of worry .
Placement Experience :
TCS and Tech Mahindra come to college for placement which does not give much more package to students My plans are not fixed yet after getting my degree as I am in the first year of my degree. I heard there is the highest package of 12- 14 lakh is obtained by this college student and the average package of this college belongs to 3-4 lakh per annum.
Campus Life :
Since college is too old you won't enjoy college much more but the city is better than Jagdalpur. So you can go city for mind. Kaushlam will be organised every year as a college fest that involves cultural technical and sports activities. Colleges have a library in which many books are there which is sufficient syllabus content but they have fewer self-help books for study. The college has less ground which should be properly maintained but some courts are there in college like volleyball which is one court in the whole college and which is not run at night. The social groups are not well developed in college but there is a technical club named GDSC. As college is so old hostels are also so old but you can enjoy college life if you meet some good friends in college .and food quality is not good enough in college you may also complain if you enroll in a hostel mess. But there is no crisis for PG availability of PG is so good.

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.
