The factor that made me choose this college was that it was nearby and overall cost-effective and due to its transport facility it was easier for me to reach the college and there was no group discussion, interview, or test for admission. The process was quick.
The course curriculum is good but the faculty is average. At first, the faculty members would be calm understanding, and helpful but once you got admitted, no one would listen to you, you have to run from here to there even to get a simple thing done. talking about the exams, they happen every 6 month and are also not so difficult. For SC students pmss scholarship is available and for the general category they give concessions from their side, as I scored 63% my semester-wise fees got reduced from 45000 to 32000
No, I have not opted for any internship and there are very few internship programs available, and also the stipend is very low. No person is interested in urging for internships and no extra benefits are given to interns.
The eligibility criteria for placement is that at that particular time One must be all clear and there is no specific cgpa required but it varies from company to company. Companies like Wipro, intel, google, and many more visit the campus, the highest package went was 32 lac p.a. and the average package is 6-8 lac p.a., and 70-80% of students get placements very easily. After my degree, I plan to study masters and then go for a better package.
This college infact is good at social life. Teachers actively urge us to practice In events such as youth festivals and other co-curricular activities. Sports events also take place every now and then although there is no coaching for any sport. I personally haven’t opted for the hostel but have lived here during the youth fest and boys hostel is just average and the food is also average but air conditioning is available in each room and the girls' hostel is good with good food. But we could go for a PG in bathinda instead as it would be better and hostel is affordable , the price is not very high.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
