To enter this college for MBBS one needs to crack the NEET UG exam with a good rank. For example- if you are from the general category and the All India quota, your rank must be under 100-200. Reservation benefits for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS are per the government scheme. The admission process is not so tough, you just need to follow the steps provided at the time of admission. I joined Synthesis Coaching Institute for my preparation.
It was my childhood dream to become a doctor. Being a doctor always fascinated me, so I chose the MBBS stream. Although it's not very easy it's worth it. The teachers here are well qualified. Almost all of them have pursued their MBBS and even some are MD and MS. Term exams are held every 3 to 4 months. It's not very difficult to pass the exams if you have studied from the very beginning. The passing percentage is 50%. Fees are around 40,000 per year and 6,000 for a hostel if you opt for it.
After doing four years of our MBBS, in the final year i.e. fifth year, we get to do an internship in the attached Safdarjung Hospital. The stipend for the same is about Rs.30,000 per month. There are night and day shifts and sometimes we have to work for 24-48 hrs straight.
In medical colleges, the term placement is not suitable. After doing the MBBS we have to take the NEET PG exam and according to the rank in this exam, we get we specialized stream. The students from my college get seats in the very prestigious AIIMS Delhi, Maulana Azad, and many other prestigious colleges. Every year out of 170, 130 to 140 students are selected.
The annual first name is Nirvana which is held every year in August and September. The library is well furnished and fully centralized AC with a rich quantity of books. We don't have much for sports activities. In the boy's hostel, we have table tennis and a basketball court and in the girl's hostel, we have only a badminton Court. There are several societies in the college including music society, Dance society, Fashion Society, literary Society, St play society, and many more.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
