You can get admission to this college from both the CUET and IPU-CET entrance tests. This college is best for para-medical courses as it has more educational resources and experienced faculty. The syllabus for the preparation of the exam is the same as NEET.
I personally choose this course as it has a wide scope in future for govt jobs . This degree allowes you work in labs as you will be a certified lab technician. The teaching methods of this college are up to date as they use modern technology for teaching purpose. The labs and the practical knowledge you will get gonna help you in your future. The exams will be on yearly bases there will be total of 3 sem . The fees is around 60000 university fees and 5000 security deposit and 10000 yearly fees for college it’s around total of 95000 for three years.
Our college gave us lab posting to work and learn how labs in hospitals work there are almost 8 labs in vmmc histology lab , cytology lab, bio chem ,micro , pathology, ccc and more that will help to gain knowledge and how to do test such as cbc, lft, kft etc
Our college doesn’t provide any placement. But we have lab postings from the 1st year to learn practical knowledge for our course which will help a lot in our future as we are gonna do this work in labs after graduation.
The campus life is not what you are expecting it’s different from the other DU colleges as it is a hospital you don’t have a campus to spend your time in as there are patients everywhere. But there are some places for staff members and college students terrace garden and other places like the library these two are the only places where you can spend your time. You can sit in the hall of the college building other than that you have to adjust a lot but still, it’s worth it as you are going to get graduate from a reputed college. I haven’t opted for a hostel as they were only available for MBBS students. There will be a yearly fest around the month of sep named as “NIRVANA” that’s the only and best fest you can enjoy. The library is just amazing you can find every book you need for your syllabus and study in the library as it has a sitting capacity for more than 1000 students. There are mainly 2 clubs I know first one is for cricket and the other one is the dancing club named Team Neocracy.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
