I got this college trough MAH-CET cap rounds, this college closed at 94 percentile for MCA department. For management quotas there is a written assessment as well as interviews. Good aspects: Good faculty, large campus. Bad aspects: College is located at rural area, no good food except from college canteen, no nearby xerox pr internet cafe, network problems with every sim card.
I have a great interest in data domains and computers and I’ve don BCA in graduation so I thought I will be better to go with MCA. To get admission in MCA students and give MAH-CET for specifically colleges located in Maharashtra, every other state has there own CET exams for each department say it MCA MBA or what not. Apart from CET students can give NIMCET to do MCA in NIT college all over India. Faculty for this course is pretty educated and knowledgeable everyone is masters of there own subjects. As of so far the Masters is expensive to pursue anywhere in the world, so I cannot say about the fees factor. Although I got the merit list scholarship from college. Every college has there own criteria for different types of scholarships, and also if a student entered in a college through CET Cap rounds then they will be eligible for the scholarship provided by the govt of India.
I have not got any internships as of now, although im still applying everywhere and challenging my potential. I’ve done 2 projects till now one was based on Java and other one on python, Sql and Excel
There is no such criteria for placement, everyone gets a chance to attend the placement rounds but if they miss any they get debarred from the process. Highest package for my batch is 9LPA and Avg is 6LPA. I’m looking for jobs off campus after my MCA.
There are several events conducted by the college such as Blind Coding, hackathon. College has a good large library, computer labs with all the essentials and seminar halls. There are several Instagram pages which are run by the students that has “Icem” in there suffix. Food quality in college is so good they almost give you restaurant like a taste and accommodation in hostel is pretty easy and great.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
