I chose this college because of the surroundings as well as a reference from a close relative who was an ex-student here. The college is pretty good given that no ragging activities take place here. Secondly, student interaction is great as well. But the cons are that the canteen food might be a bit overpriced for the amount provided and the classrooms might feel confused at times. The admission process usually takes place online on a site and after paying the fees there after a few days the college will call you for physical verification of documents. The cut-off varies every year but might fall somewhere between 70-80%
I chose this course solely for the subject of psychology as I'm very keen on learning this subject. fortunately, we have an amazing faculty who are very helpful and knowledgeable. they explain the subjects with great fluency and are experts in making you feel comfortable. my stream has two exams one is semester 1 which occurs right before Diwali when sem ends and the other is semester 2 which occurs right before summer vacations when sem 2 ends. it wasn't very difficult as long as you studied enough.
the campus life is wonderful. the fest mosaic happens once a year and this year it happened in January. it has a great number of participations of students and receives a good number of sponsors as well. the fest takes place for 2 days and the students give their best in it. our library has a great genre of books and is pretty big and comfortable. you can find almost any book u require over there. the space is so comfortable that students often prepare for their exams there. the classrooms have non-ac facilities.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
