no there were no interviews or written tests for admission at all admission is fully merit-based this college is a non-college as of this year 2023-2024 but NEP may get implemented the next year At St Andrew's C, there are good facilities, faculty courses available but here however there is no specific BA in major psychology course available it is a double major along with sociology course available
I initially chose this course ba in Andrews for the psychology but later was told there is no single major in psychology and if u wish to be a psychologist u need to have a proper single major in psychology so look out for that in colleges. Andrews however has different courses in a single major which is amazing the fee structure as well is decent and the curriculum too is nice. The exams conducted are only on semester ends no extra middle exams are conducted and if u study the material and syllabus nicely it is very easy to score a good grade in the course the teachers also make it easier to understand the reading material.
placements and internships are offered when joining into the departments and are done regularly there is an interview process to get selected for it all of the students get a chance into the whole process to apply if they wish to and get selected depending on the criteria.
The campus is nice and the social life is nice as well Andrews has its main fest called Mosiac conducted in September and October a Two-day event that is quite thrilling and fun it has multiple departments to join in which offers different tasks to complete and participate in overall as well Andrews has different clubs that u can join into that conduct activity for the students on a regular basis and the student council ensures it’s The library is great they have a wide range of books to select from and take home after permission. Canteen available.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
