Remarks :
Miranda House is one of the most esteemed colleges in India where I had a clear mindset of doing a ba in geography, and the best option I can get in that course is in this college. This college has placed a nirf-1 ranking for the last 7 years with an- A+ rating. The faculty is superb and this college can help me to achieve my further goals and ambitions. Cuet is the procedure for admission of the colleges, where it was conducted for the first time and no one knows the difficulty level, pyq's, and how to attempt the test. Whereas, NTA provided some of the sample papers to predict the paper. I got 690/800 in my cuet score.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is ba Geography, i chose this subject or course because from school times I was very much interested in this subject where this subject provides the information about our surroundings which is very much easy to understand for me. In geography, there are 2 major disciplines: physical and human Geography. My favourite discipline is physical geography which gives information about the earth and its surfaces, and the physical features of the environment. Exam difficulty level is always easy the difficult part is tracking the assignments date of each subject where professor used to give many assignments, tes etc.
Campus Life :
North campus is a dream for a du student, whereas specifically talking about Miranda house campus is huge. Miranda House College has many gardens and a big sports ground. More than 50 clubs and societies where a student can be a part of and explore more rather than studies according to their hobbies. Miranda has 3 small canteens and a big canteen where in 3 smaller one snacks and all are provided where in big canteen girls used to have their proper meal in a very affordable price with a delicious taste. The Library of Miranda is on three floors and every possible book is available there. Every society or clubs have its own Instagram account where students can connect themselves and resolve their particular queries. The hostel is very big and affordable but for the registration process, they see the marks and the distance of the homes from the college as localities are not allowed to participate in the hostel Regis process.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
