- Here I like about the library accessibility cause I can access it for free till iam studying here
- And second is the health check up card, As a medical student you will get free medical checkups in the KMC hospital
Dislikes
- The hostel and the food is the main thing I don't like
- And second is the stipend thing cause here we will get only 180p while other collages are giving 5 to 10k
Remarks :
I took this course as my dad told me it would have more scope in future blah blah... but the reality is that when I was doing an internship got to know that doing nursing is far better than this and the salary you get is minimal compared to another course. And yes entrance exam was there and sc is there for the achievers in the school exams
Course Curriculum Overview :
Again here I chose the course cause my dad told me to do this not my idead and the faculty here is more dumb than us and a little egoistic. Exams are good when compared to other colleges as you can pass easily by learning and here for every year 10k is added to the fee structure.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I am in internship now and in an internship you have only one option that you have to do here in Manipal KMC hospital with the stipend of RS.1800 which is very low compared to other collages The tasks will be like you have to do what the staff are doing but you won't get a salary that's the only difference between an intern and a staff
Placement Experience :
Placement is like if you are doing the medical course you will get a job for sure but not the salary you expect for the medical course like nursing and all. Doing masters is very much helpful in here in this course as you may go as a professor and get a better salary
Campus Life :
Well to talk about campus life, I you want to enjoy the proper campus life then you can join here but one thing don't lose your friends cause it will turn totally upside down Libraries are accessible till midnight o clock and student clubs are there like the photography club for example and Many more are there Hostel prices are higher when you compare the stay in an apartment with your friends by sharing the total rent so it is not advisable to take a hostel and the hostel food is not up to the mark. If you come from the south side of India you ain't gonna like the Food served here and I am not racist here by the way

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
