Overall the College placements and the college life interested me so much that I choose this college. This college is very good in terms of attendance which is very relaxing here. The number of high students also creates a rat race or competitiveness. The exam was JEE mains through which you can get into this college which is conducted by NTA. I prepared by myself to get into this college.
My course is engineering physics. I chose this course because I found physics very interesting from the beginning. This course contains subjects like quantum physics optics relativity which I found very interesting. So how I would say the curriculum of this course is very good. The faculty here is very highly experienced and the professors are very cooperative as well. The term exams were conducted on time the difficulty level is very high because students kripya so hard for the semester exams and the cutoff to pass goes very high so if you have to maintain a good CGPA you have to study hard. The fee hike in hostels is very much because there is no student union in this college so to raise the voice against the system. There are many scholarships with provided by this college if your family income is less than 3 lakh per annum then you can easily get these scholarships as well as reserved seats students also get its scholarship benefits.
I have completed my 2nd year so I haven't got any internship yet but but still preparing for good internship when the time will come. I am working on full-stack projects to get placed as a software engineer.
Eligibility criteria for placement are having a good CGPA above 8 per sitting in a good company's internship as well as placement exams. Many good companies like Amazon Facebook Google Microsoft visit this college and take interns as well give placements as well. The highest package offered in my branch was 24 lakhs and the lowest package offered was 3 lakh the median of my branch is 7.5 lakhs per annum. Overall 40% of students get placed while some students opt for further studies.
There are many fest organs in this college the main fest car you won is an NG fest other fests are conducted by IEEE Invictus as well as a small fest by college societies. Every month there are at least 3 to 4 events going on. The library here is very good. It has very large number of books as well as good seating arrangements discipline is also maintained very respectfully. There a separate sports also conducted in this college and sports facilities are also very good there is an indoor badminton and table tennis ground as well as separate cricket football basketball volleyball lawn tennis grounds. There are many clubs like Sahitya pratibimb nityanangana where you can take part in various activities like singing dancing wrapping acting etc. the food quality of the hostel is going down. Google easily gets a hostel in the second or third year but it is very difficult to get a hostel in 1st year the registration process is through the DTU website.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
