- Campus facilities are really amazing... Stationary shops, Food courts, daily needs store , Infirmary and many more are available in campus only .
- Faculty members and staff members are also very helpful and friendly
Dislikes
- Some surrounding areas are not that much peaceful
Remarks :
The admission process is not that much complicated...You need to take the entrance exam of the university for admission. Students can also take admission directly through their JEE IIT Marks if meeting the required criteria.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members at UPES are very helpful and their teaching methods are also very effective and amazing. They provide you with good study material...You can also ask your doubts either during the lecture or by one-on-one interaction with the faculty. The term exams are moderate to difficult and based on your preparation.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides you with different types of internship opportunities. For first-year students, there is a compulsory social internship provided by the university only which is beneficial. And Many other paid internships are also available.
Placement Experience :
The placement ratio of UPES is also satisfying... Students can get placed at amazing companies based on their performance and hard work. The percent of students getting placed is also around 90 to 95%. The average package is of 10lakhs.
Campus Life :
The campus Life at UPES is amazing. The campus area and the surrounding areas are peaceful and relaxing. The environment in also very peaceful and all the facilities are available on campus and around the campus area.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
