Likes
- college was establish in 1940 and till now college infrastructure with a huge OAT.
- Besides old buildings new buildings of classroom were made this year which is fully air-condition and have more than 200 new classrooms
Dislikes
- As the campus size is 160 acres it is difficult of commute between labs and classroom in different wings as students vehicle inside the campus is banned recently
- sometimes DTU felt overcrowded specially on the occasions like events and fest.
Remarks :
DTU has a good placement record in past in which around 70 to 80% of students get placed every year with an average package of more than 15lpa. Coming to the admission procedure you only have to JEE-mains exam and by taking part in JAC-DELHI counselling you will get admission to DTU. There is not such type of GD or interview for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of DTU has changed recently and new subjects that tech oriented were added in Academics. Coming to faculties all of them have a PhD or pursuing a PhD. So all of the faculties have good experience in teaching. Delhi government provides many scholarships to Students as it is a government college so it can help those students who are some how not able to pay fees some of the Scholarships are Merit-cum means, NSP, etc.
Internships Opportunities :
Several no. of companies came to campus in starting of 3rd year of BTech. Many students get internship opportunities from the campus itself but due to relatively fewer. Companies coming for internships only some students can get that internship.
Placement Experience :
DTU has a good placements record as every year more than 2000 students sit for placements and around 70 to 80% of them get on-campus placements with an average package of over 15lpa. As recorded in 2023-24, the highest package of DTU was 64lpa with an average package of 15.15lpa. Which is very good compared to no. of students.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good in terms of social life clubs as there are too many cultural and tech societies at DTU. Every day you will find some kind of event going on on the campus. Not only that the sports complex of DTU has all the sports grounds and courts like cricket, football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, an indoor stadium and a gym. If you are opting a hostel you will surely enjoy the campus life.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
