The college is very beautiful and the surrounding areas are very peaceful. Some classrooms are very small compared to the students. In order to be admission to this college, the students must be eligible for admission and must secure good marks in exams. They must have a good percentage for taking admission. The applied online for the admission and since my marks are good so I got the admission. The admission process takes place in a very strict and disciplined manner. The students who secured good percentages and marks in the examination are eligible to take admission on this beautiful college. The environment of the college is very peaceful and serene.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it is very much related to our daily lives which helps us to understand current affairs and scenarios. The faculty members are very good and friendly and always help us to understand the concepts required for the examination. They help us to clear our problems and solve our doubts. The teaching methods are very good and improved. They teach us most simply so that we can understand the concepts required for the examination properly and easily. The faculty members make us capable of scoring good marks in exams. The examination takes place every six months. There are scholarships like Ishan Uday Scholarship available for the students who are eligible and secure good marks in exams.
Internships Opportunities :
No, till now I have not opted for any internship. The internships take place for some of the selected courses, which helps the students to gain knowledge and helps them to understand the current scenario.
Placement Experience :
There are no placements. My planning after completing the course is to go for higher education. Higher education will make me more capable and knowledgeable to start my carrier after the completion of the course.
Campus Life :
The college organises a annual sports week in the month of January.They organises various types of sports, cultural activities and many more curricular activities.This helps the students to show their capabilities and talents by participating in the activities.The college has a huge library and it has many books, every subjects books are available in the Sports like cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton etc are organised during the sports week.There are two social groups in the college.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
