Remarks :
I had no idea when I passed my 12th and what to do next I had a commerce background then my relative suggested I take admission to this college then I visited the college with my parents and after that, I simply took admission to this college. It feels like I took admission in school not in college, timing is so tough for entry like I am getting into a college with no industry knowledge just book knowledge and that but after all that the good news is I am still going to place min 6lpa this year for sure thanks to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Corse Curriculum - only books knowledge just open the books in the last week of exams and get pass that's all no need to worry before that. Academics - need to maintain a 7.5 CGPA to get a good placement that's all you need and that's what all the teachers need from you so just get that then chill if you have a good bond with teachers believe u can get that very easily. Scholarship - no scholarship at all forgot about that. Fees - not that much can pay easily it's just 55000 per year with 6lpa average placement I mean what else do you want?
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, college does provide you with opportunities for internships but most of them are unpaid that's another thing but you will get offers of internships that's up to you if want industry experience for no salary or if u just want to waste your time in summer vacation.
Placement Experience :
The best thing about this college is you can get placed for sure if u do a little bit by yourself then u can grab a very good placement like 7-8 LPA or above like seriously this is the best for this college after all this you can expect good placement just maintain your CGPA above 7.5 and you are good to go enjoy buddy you are getting placed.
Campus Life :
Hostels are all messed up (not recommended). No social life forgot that. Yes, fests are held but you can't expect much from it, no way to exit if you enter once, separate ground for boys and girls with a full NCC feeling. Good library where you can study with ease and no disturbance. Good infrastructure like good buildings and good maintenance (this is the reason why I took admission).

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
