- I like the college's some highly qualified faculties & their guidance outside textbooks & Extra curricular activities. I was also part of NCC there from 2019 to 2022.
- College has much quality infrastructure as per the modern conditions, & a lab bilding which has various lab according to the subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Zoology, Botany etc. College campus has got a new look after 2022 when they changed their all security management team, which lead to reduced unnecessary overcrowding of outsiders & especially many pass out students who use come there for time pass.
Dislikes
- Yes there are some newly recruited faculties they found it difficult to match up with students, because of there lack of experience.
- There counter facilty needs to be improved, because whenever we used go there for asking any of ous document, they avoid us or neglect us most of the times. Keeps asking come next day.

S.S. & L.S. Patkar College of Arts & Science, also know as the Patkar College. It is an Autonomous college. This college has been well known in the suburbs of Mumbai since 1964, Patkar College has provided quality teaching aimed at enhancing students' academic and life skills. I have decided to take admission in this college since my school days. This college is known for its excellence in Mumbai, especially in the suburbs. Yes, there are written tests for admission to some courses. The admission process is simple you have to visit the college, submit the necessary documents then pay of fees, and your admission is done. Yes, there are various cut-offs according to courses. The college has some bad aspects like when we demand some of our documents of pass out students, they found it to be negligible. There is NCC & NSS are also there in college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In terms of faculties, this is one of the best colleges in Mumbai. All the facilities are very well known for their teaching style, they have experience in their respective fields. Some facilities are very helpful & Cheerful. They are highly qualified. Some recruits may find little but tough to tune with students, but overall facilities are good. I chose this B.A. Course because I want to prepare for Competitive exams in future &some faculties also guide us for our future career. There are semester exam patterns & they are pretty much difficult. There are scholarships for some categories of students.
Placement Experience :
As a B.A. we don't have any internships & placements but, yes there are some of my friends from BSC & BSC IT who get placements with good packages, in well-known companies. So there are many opportunities for placements.
Campus Life :
Yes, many events take place on the college campus in December & January, namely, Ignite & many more many Marathi celebrities have participated in this event. You can more about events on college social media pages. There are seminars on various socio-political topics by experts in the auditorium. Previous library with more than thousands of books & daily newspapers. Sports events take place at nearby Prabodhan Sports Club Goregaon (E.). College is also known very much for its extracurricular activities like various Days are celebrated. The college has good infrastructure with one small sports room known as Gymkhana. There are hostel facilities but that is only for females.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
