Electronics and telecommunication have a bright future and it's a booming industry. Therefore I feel like taking EXTC as my course. All professors hold good qualifications. The teaching staff is very nice. The term exams are divided into 3 parts, Mid sem exams, sem exams and end-sems. From the first year to the second year, there was no fee hike and there were many scholarships for students.

Placements is one the best factor which makes this college rank at the top. 100% placements are assured with good packages and companies participating. The highest package of 2022 was a staggering 110 L CTC offered by Amazon London to 1 student. The average package is around 20 Lacs.
The main fest of SPIT MUMBAI is OCULUS, the tech-culture fest, which is generally organised in April. The college has the best library in Mumbai, with a lot of books and easy access to them. Also, sports and extracurricular activities are considered important in college along with academics. There are some courses in which sports are compulsory. There are many clubs in colleges such as ECELL, IEEE, IETE, oculus etc. So there is no hostel, unfortunately, but you can afford a good PG in the nearby Andheri locality.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
