The admission process was simple. I chose Thadomal because it was in the top 3 colleges for computer engineering in Mumbai and it had a Sindhi quota available for students. There are also scholarships available for eligible students under various schemes like TFWS, EBC, etc.
The course curriculum was the same which is provided by Mumbai University. The faculty members are all great and helpful. There are 2 periodic tests held every semester and most of the time question banks are provided which help students get a hold of the new subjects before the final semester exam. The fees were about 2 lakh every year. The students can avail of the EBC scholarship here. Eligible students get a 50% tuition fee waiver. The faculty taught everything using ppts and shared the resources after the lectures which made making notes very easy.
Many big companies like JP Morgan, Oracle, etc come to the campus to hire interns in the Third Year of the course. The selected students then have a chance at getting a PPO from such companies based on their performance during their internship.
Till 2023, the placements were amazing. Almost every student got placed and had a job. In 2024, due to the recession, the placements were not as good. There are still many unplaced students from the 2024 pass out batch. But, in comparison to other colleges, placements are better at Thadomal.
The campus is very lively. Many events are going on at all times throughout the year. Students can participate in different clubs. There is also an annual fest that is conducted. Many hackathons are held throughout the year which have sponsors and cash prizes. There is also a library which students have access to. Every classroom has a smart board and projector, and all the rooms are air-conditioned.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
